Enhancing Performance Through Cognitive and Physiological Variables
The purpose of this presentation and practical exercise is to enhance individual performance through controlling of cognitive and physiological stressors which lead to skill deprivation on operations or in training.
This includes tactical breathing, tactical thinking and attention to stimuli and emotional arousal reduction.
Operators will discuss and practice arousal reduction strategies using simulation and bio-feedback. Basic strategies practiced and implemented aim to enhance combat effectiveness and survival.
